President Trump Never Said The N Word and Here is What Happened

Things are heating up at the White House as Donald Trump – President of the United States of America – is embroiled in yet another controversy. The issue this time is highly sensitive as it involves racism and an African-American woman, actress, and former employee at the White House Omarosa Manigault.

The Controversy

Firstly, let’s take a look at the background of the whole story briefly. Donald Trump hired Omarosa Manigault as an adviser at the White House. As per Trump, “When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn’t work out.”

Omarosa Manigault was recently fired from her job after she put some serious accusations regarding racism on Donald Trump. The woman in question claims that she has multiple recordings of Donald Trump using the N-word multiple times back when he was at the reality TV. So far, she has released three recordings from her time when she was at the White House. The two recordings are from her firing from the White House where she recorded her conversations with Trump secretly. The third one is from when Trump was at a reality show and claims that the current president of the USA uses N-word multiple times.

The accusations don’t end here. She further alleges that Donald Trump is in a state of mental deterioration and has used racial remarks for George Conway, who is Kellyanne Conway’s husband. It is pertinent to mention here that Conway has a Filipino ancestry, however, he has labeled all these accusations as absurd.

In an interview, Manigault tells:

“I don’t believe that I have violated [an NDA], but I’m going to leave that to the lawyers to sort that out. It’s interesting that he’s trying to silence me. So what is he trying to hide? What is he afraid of? If he hadn’t said anything that was derogatory or demeaning to African Americans and women, why would he go to this extent to try to shut me down?” [The Guardian]

This actually sounds pretty absurd. How does responding to allegations amount to someone “trying to hide” something? Any person who is accused of racism or any other accusation of such matter would take any measure to deal with it. To decide is she violated non-disclosure agreement or not is up to the authorities, however, saying that taking action on it somehow qualifies as shutting someone down, doesn’t make any sense.

Donald Trump, on the other hand, took it to twitter to categorically deny all those accusations made by Omarosa Manigault Newman.

The President sent out multiple tweets denying that there are any tapes from The Apprentice show that see him using the racial slurs. Here are the tweets that we are talking about.

There is another take to this whole controversy and that is Omarosa Manigault’s newly-released book. The lady released her book named Unhinged yesterday 14th August and some of were of the view that these allegations are a way to push the sales. The Trump has accused her of her breaching the non-disclosure agreement as well that was signed in 2016, so she isn’t short of controversies either.
