Things between President Donald Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions have heated up following Attorney General Jeff Sessions Recusal from the Russia Investigation. From President Trump’s line of “Tweets” about Jess Sessions, it’s more than clear that the President is not happy how things turned out between them. Fr those who aren’t aware, Attorney General Jeff Sessions was one of the most prominent supporters of Donald Trump during the presidential campaign of 2016 so it makes President’s Trump dissatisfaction with how he handled the Russia Investigation.
“The silence from Mr. Sessions could have a more pernicious effect on the staff than the blow to morale, the officials say. The condemnations send the message that people can be persecuted for holding political beliefs at odds with those of the president.” https://t.co/7Ger5Wx4ni

“Sessions should have never recused himself and if he was going to recuse himself he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else,” Trump said, according to the Times.
In an interview with The New York Times Wednesday, President Trump went as far as to say that he would have never picked Jeff Sessions as his attorney general if he had known Sessions would recuse himself from involvement in the investigation into Russian election meddling. In a Tweet made that Monday, President Trump questioned why congressional investigators probed why they were looking into his presidential rival, Hillary Clinton, and described Mr. Sessions as “beleaguered”. According to the tweet,” So why aren’t the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillary’s crimes & Russia relations?”
While Jeff Sessions endlessly recuses himself, the infamous Judge Gonzalo Curiel is slated to hear a case related to President Trump’s border wall. No conflict of interest, nope, not at all!https://t.co/swr2ZWIp4w

In an Interview with the times, Donald Trump further hit upon the fact that he wasn’t aware of any intentions Jeff Sessions might have had about recusing the Russia Investigation.
“Jeff Sessions takes the job, gets into the job, recuses himself, which frankly I think is very unfair to the president,” Trump told the Times. “How do you take a job and then recuse yourself? If he would have recused himself before the job, I would have said, ‘Thanks, Jeff, but I’m not going to take you.’ It’s extremely unfair — and that’s a mild word — to the president.”
As things stand now, Donald Trump is set of replacing Jeff Sessions with another of his most prominent supporters during his campaign which is former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani to replace Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
